Iran Regime Says, 'Double Plus Good' on President Obama
Invoking Newspeak from George Orwell's 1984, this article by Kian Mokhtari of the Islamic Republic's conservative, state-controlled Kayhan newspaper rails against the British while praising Obama as “wise beyond his years.”
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev: Escaping the turmoil in his own country at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Russia, Ahmadinejad lashed out at the West in general and the U.S. in particular, saying that the 'age of empire' is over.
We thought the world had seen
the last of slimy, underhanded British attempts to take over the resources of other
nations, be they called color, velvet or just plain coups. But on the other
side of the pond, promising signs have appeared in a young leader who is wise
beyond his years.
President Barack Hussein
Obama of the United States of America, speaking
before reporters on Tuesday, maintained that he didn't wish to interfere in
Iran's presidential election. "I've made it clear that the United States
respects the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran and is not interfering
with Iran's affairs." We couldn’t be in greater agreement with the U.S.
President.
Obama continued: "The international
community has been appalled and outraged by reports of violence within post
election Iran … I strongly condemn these unjust actions, and I join with the
American people in mourning each and every innocent life that is lost.”

[Editor's Note: Obama's
actual remarks were: "The international community has been appalled and
outraged by the threats, the beatings and imprisonments of the last few days. I
strongly condemn these unjust actions, and I join with the American people in
mourning each and every innocent life that is lost.]
An absolute “double plus
good” to President Obama. The Islamic Republic of Iran nods in total agreement.
The presidential election in Iran turned grim when defeated presidential
candidates Mir Hossein Mousavi, Mehdi Karroubi and Mohsen Rezaei accused the
authorities of rigging the election.
But wait a minute; Mohsen
Rezaie has withdrawn his complaint. Mr. Karoubi and Mr. Mousavi have repeatedly
failed to file complaints with the Guardian Council and Iran’s ever-alert
security personnel have uncovered the most audacious plan, instigated by
Britain, for a coup, which implicates four European countries and a number of
regional states.
Equipment for forging
government documents and the documents themselves have been discovered at the leading
defeated candidate’s campaign headquarters and arrests have been made. So those
pointing an accusing finger at Iranian President Dr. Mahmud Ahmadinejad have
turned out to be the real vote riggers and fraudsters.
As far at the images of a
teenage girl's tragic death on Tehran’s streets are concerned, the autopsy has
revealed that the bullet entered her lung from behind. There were no security
forces stationed behind the location where she fell. Also, the bullet came from
a weapon that isn't supplied to any of Iran’s military units. Iranian riot
police don't carry firearms. Investigations are ongoing but headway is being
made. Her murderers will be found and brought to justice in her honor.

The Ministry of Foreign
Affairs has expelled two British diplomats for “activities incompatible with
their diplomatic status.” Need we say more? Well we can: The Foreign Ministry
is prepared and more than willing to provide all necessary evidence to back up
its actions.
That just leaves two points; one:
Iran’s elections were the most magnificent in the history of global democracy
and Iran’s democracy is the purest of all. Forty million people took part; that
means a staggering 85 percent of Iranians eligible to vote cast ballots. Compare
that to yesterday's local elections in Italy yesterday, which failed to reach a
quorum. Only 23 percent of the 50 million eligible voters bothered to cast ballots.
The vote was therefore annulled.

Iran's
government-sponsored street thugs, June 20.
Point two: An anti-Iran vote
in the U.S. House of representatives passed 405 to 1. It was opposed by a lone Texas
Congressmen, Ron Paul, who said he believed the U.S. government shouldn't act
as a judge of every other country. Paul said, "It seems our criticism is
selective and applied when there are political points to be made … I have
admired President Obama's cautious approach to the situation in Iran and would
have preferred that we in the House acted similarly."
So there's at least one other
U.S. politician whose wisdom surpasses that of Barack Hussein Obama.
And there's another point: What
the world needs now is love and a true belief in the power of Almighty God. Both
elements are sadly amiss among countries that so viciously libel Iran.
