"While the entire world is
becoming aware of the weakness of the U.S. administration, from Latin America
to Asia, from Iran to Korea, and from Turkey to China to Russia, strangely,
only the Arabs accept its commands and obey."
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: When his government announced plans to build 1,600 new homes on what is widely percieved to be occupied Palestinian land in East Jerusalem, it was a major slap in the face to visiting Vice President Joe Biden.
During his recent visit to
Tel Aviv, Vice President Joe Biden attracted attention with his intimate speech
to the Jewish state. During his discourse at the University of Tel Aviv, the
man spoke as if he were a displaced person returning to his homeland after a
long absence. He told listeners that a Zionist doesn't necessarily have to be a
Jew, but could be non-Jew as well. After the event, Israeli newspapers celebrated
the close friend of the Jewish state, pointing to his "religious"
Jewish daughter-in-law and how he shared her Passover celebration. We weren't told
whether she has any children that are Jewish and necessarily Zionist - like
their grandfather!?
Netanyahu's slap in the face
to this important visitor - the announcement of the 1,600 settlement units in a
colony near Jerusalem - didn't prevent Biden from professing his love and
affection, and the criticism he uttered was just a "hasty" reaction. This
was quickly overcome and Biden showed his understanding to Netanyahu, that
friend and "man of peace," who told him that he knew nothing about
the announcement and that it wasn't his decision.
And Biden isn't the only
intimate friend of the Jewish state in the White House. Dear Hillary Clinton is
effusive in proclaiming her love and support (manifested during her speech at
the AIPAC conference). Then there is Zionist and son of a Zionist, White House
Chief of Staff Rahm Emmanuel - and many others.
Finally we're left with our dear Barack (Hussein) Obama, who was welcomed by
many for his "soft" speech that was in reality soft only to those who
wanted it to be.
It's clear now to anyone with
vision that what we said before the presidential election was true: Obama was
better than the Republican nominee in regard to the Jewish state because of his
capacity to sell his goods to Arabs, the Islamic World and throughout the rest
of the Third World. But all the while, aside from the ones surrounding him in
the administration, Obama is tied down by scores of Zionists in Congress .
Zionist influence within the
corridors of U.S. power has reached such a level, that one can't even speak
about Republicans or Democrats, because a majority of lawmakers in both parties
have become supporters of the Jewish state, which was confirmed by House
Speaker Nancy Pelosi after her meeting with Netanyahu. Those supporters have
infiltrated and control the media and the rest of the halls of power in the
country.
If it were otherwise, Netanyahu
could never have taken them so lightly - I refer to Obama, his vice president
and his secretary of state. If it were otherwise, Netanyahu would have had to
do the natural this and freeze settlements activity in Jerusalem and the West
Bank for a limited period, in order to help launch negotiations in a way that
would have helped Washington extricate itself from the swamp left by George W.
Bush - particularly in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Could one argue that the
Obama team, as Zionist as it is, didn't expect something like this to happen?
Of course not - or Biden wouldn't have briefly recoiled over the announcement
of new construction, and everyone saw how he begged the Israelis, literally
telling them: "What you're doing here affects the security of our troops
fighting in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan. That exposes us to peril and puts
peace in the region at danger" [translated quote].
It's necessary here
to note that the tensions that have marred U.S.-Israeli relations in recent
days (including Obama's limited show of determination when facing Netanyahu) were
necessary to persuade Arabs to cling to the option of talks, and to wager on "embarrassing
Israel," especially before the Arab summit in Libya. But more important is
the Pentagon's adoption of a more balanced approach to the Palestinian issue, due
to a fear of fanning the flames and impacting U.S. soldiers in Iraq and
Afghanistan - and America's interests throughout the region.

The striking thing about the whole
issue is that while the entire world is becoming aware of the weakness of the U.S.
administration, from Latin America to Asia, from Iran to Korea, and from Turkey
to China to Russia, strangely, only the Arabs accept its commands and obey.
A French-Jewish artillery officer, Alfred Dreyfus was wrongly convicted of treason in 1894 and recieved a life sentence until his innocence was proven and he was released in 1896.
[Editor's Note: Although to many Muslims, the word "Zionism" has taken on a
sinister hue, "Zionism" is a concept popularized by Hungarian Jewish
journalist Theodore Herzl
in his 1896 book The State of the Jews. In light of Europe's history of
cruelty and marginalization of Jews - and after a French Jewish military
officer named Alfred
Dreyfus was accused of spying for Germany and convicted of treason in one
of the most notorious cases of anti-Semitism in French history - Herzl
concluded that Jews would never be accepted in Europe and needed their own
homeland. This is the origin of political Zionism and the drive to create a Jewish state,
which culminated in 1948 with the founding of the state of Israel.]
