U.S.-Zionist Plan for 'Blood Borders' Proceeds Apace (Al Ghad, Jordan)

"This holy war against Syria, supported by Arab oil, will 'set the record straight' and change the existing borders according to Israeli interests, therefore entrenching the dominance of the religiously-based Jewish state. ... U.S. thinking about the region is shown clearly in Egypt, Libya and Syria, attacks on Egypt's Copts and the creation of sectarian-based chaos. This confirms that the plan is being carried out to the letter and without opposition - only now through local players. As long as Western blood is sacred, to achieve this end, let the profane blood of Arabs be shed."

Jordan - Al Ghad - Original Article (Arabic)

In 2006, retired United States Army Lieutenant Colonel penned one of the most quoted and controversial articles of the decade: Blood Borders: How a Better Middle East Would Look.

C-SPAN NEWS VIDEO, U.S.: Ralph Peters talks about his latest collection of articles on such subjects as the U.S. wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, the problems in the Middle East, and U.S.-Russia relations, Mar. 21, 2010, 01:48:29RealVideo

The forces of change in the Arab world have now been unleashed and are destroying everything. No longer a movement for building modern societies, it is now about establishing uncreative chaos, long ago structured and defined, in form and function, by the West and the United States.

Religious and ethnic separatist tendencies are the most obvious and likely to worsen in the future. What was once a dream has become a de-facto reality, and will be dealt with accordingly. Today, the promotion of a Jewish state is no longer just a concern for Jewish extremists, but is an international effort. This was confirmed by the U.S. president during his recent visit to occupied Palestine, which showed that with international and regional support, a wave of countries established on a religious and sectarian basis is inevitable.

Zbigniew Brzezinski, national security advisor under President Carter, in a recent article entitled After America, wrote that countries other than the United States are moving quickly to establish influence in their particular regions. In this context, he mentions that Turkey will move into the space once encompassed by the former Ottoman Empire. This is playing out in practical terms with Turkey raising the cost of the war for Syria, backing the Syrian rebels with money and arms, and facilitating the transport of armed groups from around world to fight the Syrians. From this angle, Turkey's military and material support for the rebels in Syria is easier to understand: It is not about the regime, freedom, or shedding tears over the blood of Syrians, as much as it is about reshaping the region along ethnic and sectarian lines based on the laws of division.

In the imaginations of the Americans and their local proxies, the picture looks more pronounced. In 2006, Ralph Peters wrote an article for the Armed Forces Journal entitled Blood Borders: How a Better Middle East Would Look. In it, he described new borders for the region - and new states - in which the sectarian, religious and ethnic dimension would be obvious, and thus the region would be divided according to American and Zionist specifications [before and after maps below]. As long as the focus of the struggle are sects rejected by Sunnis, such as the Shiites, Alawites and Christians, rather than Israel, the idea of countries based on religious and ethnic division championed by the new revolutionaries will bear fruit. This holy war against Syria, supported by Arab oil, will "set the record straight" and change the existing borders according to Israeli interests, therefore entrenching the dominance of the religiously-based Jewish state.

But the gears of history cannot be stopped. On this basis, this project of partitioning wrapped in religious packaging will boomerang and eventually be defeated.
