Gaza Blockade Shows Arabs are a 'Dead Nation' Under American Control

After a commando raid on a flotilla of ships intent on breaking Israel's three-year blockade of Gaza, the Jewish State is confronting a firestorm of global criticism.
Once again, we're embarrassed
by the Turks, Greeks and Europeans from every country in the world's only
civilized union [the E.U.]. And once again we've been wounded by Israel, which
has embarrassed us Arabs who believe in peace, the process of seeking peace and
the great benefits it would bring.
Yes - we are also embarrassed
because we haven't risen to the level of courage and manhood shown by the Turks [who are not Arabs],
although they don't read the poetry of Antara Ibn Shaddad,
don't have Abu Zayd
Al Hilali, and weren't blessed with tribes and respected clan leaders. What
they have is something called self-esteem.
We are embarrassed by the
Greeks, and haven't risen to their level of wisdom; although they have no oil, are
confronting a huge economic crisis and have nothing but a few philosophers who left
some books and died!
We are
embarrassed by the Europeans, because we haven't reached their level of clarity
- although they have no tribal relationships, and marry their unveiled and immodest
daughters without fanfare, who enjoy huge amounts of foolish
entertainment.
But more than anything else,
we we're embarrassed because the Freedom Flotilla should have been Arab - and
because breaking the siege of Gaza should be done by Arab hands through the Arab
gates and through the border.??

of Star Academy
[a talent show],·or shout their patriotism during football games. It seems
that from sea to sea, the Arab world has become a mere playground - for lack of
a better term.
While blood has been spilled
in the waters of the Mediterranean - it has dried up in the veins of the Arab
order. We have followed the official Arab reaction and have laughed our socks
off.
