The White House said
yesterday, September 16th, that U.S. President George Bush (62-years-old),
underwent minor surgery over the weekend to remove a benign tumor from his
forehead. The statement issued by the White House said, "This was a seborrheic keratosis,
an extremely common, benign skin lesion that he has had in the past."
The American
Academy of Dermatology describes this type of lesion as "non-cancerous
growths of the outer layer of skin," which are typically brown in color
and can range in size," that is, it is much smaller than the surface of
half a cent!
The cause of this "fatty growth" isn't known! However, some opponents of
the U.S. President say that the reasons for President Bush's tumors are
numerous, including the events of September 11th, his failure to kill or arrest
Osama bin Laden, the political chaos of occupied Iraq, and the confusion of
U.S. policy makers in the Caucasus region!! All of these factors and events are
likely to have caused tumors in various parts of his body. Just last year, Bush
was subject to a similar surgical procedure to remove "two benign
tumors" from his head, and in 2006, still another from his arm. In 2003,
Bush had four "tiny" benign tumors of various kinds removed from his
cheek and left arm, which are said to have afflicted him as a result to sun
exposure!! These tumors were removed because they may eventually have developed
into malignant cells.

Bush is known as
a man who is passionate about being out in the American countryside in open
air. So in addition to having lots of exposure to the sun, he spends a lot of
time Mountain biking and tidying-up his ranch in Texas.
In all case, at
least Americans know about the diseases of their President. But we know nothing
of those of their Iraqi Allies in the Green Zone, where many Iraqi officials
suffer illnesses. Only Allah knows about these, which are mostly treated at
hospitals in Jordan, America, France and Britain.
Iraqi officials
are able to travel to the world's major capitals for testing and treatment at a
moment's notice. Iraqi citizens know nothing of the kind of cancers or
illnesses Iraqi leaders suffer - may Allah preserve them and guard them from
harm! Pray they don’t practice sports or swim in the Tigris, in swimming pools,
or at resorts with hunting clubs. And pray they don’t ride motorcycles or walk
in the open air … ! Neither does one know anything
about the sicknesses of their families. Although Iraqis are well-aware that the
"cancerous tumors” of Iraqi society are anything but benign. They exist in
water that is unfit to drink; electricity that holds no charge; sewers that are
overflowing; in the Ministries of culture and health; in the nationals
population centers and even in the military camps of the People’s Mujahedin of
Iran!

One final word: There's nothing
wrong with our political leader contracting illnesses, but what is wrong, is
that their wives don't know what diseases they have!!
