President Carter
admits the obvious: So much for strategic ambiguity.

The Americans
Admit to a Nuclear Israel
"Because of its expansionist
and aggressive policies and brutal crimes against the Arab people, the
international community must consider Israel a nation outside of the law and in
violation of the provisions of international legitimacy."
Former American
President Jimmy Carter admitted that Israel owns at least 70 nuclear weapons
[actually, Carter put the number at 150 ]. With this
statement, the former president has offered new evidence about the size of
Israel’s nuclear arsenal, which it holds outside the framework of international
legitimacy. His comments come as the United States is leading a fierce campaign
against any country or party that has questionable nuclear intentions.

[Editor's Note: Carter
is quoted as saying at the Hay-on-Wye literary festival in Wales, "The
U.S. has more than 12,000 nuclear weapons, the former Soviet Union has about
the same; Britain and France have several hundred, and Israel has 150 or more].
Indeed, Carter
discovered the existence of this large number of Israeli nukes when he had the
keys to the White House and was in a position to know. The international
community and especially the Arab world, which is most immediately threatened
by Israel's weapons of mass destruction, must strongly react to this
information. Because of its expansionist and aggressive policies and brutal
crimes against the Arab people, the international community must consider
Israel a nation outside of the law and in violation of the provisions of
international legitimacy.
